Valkyriens Shelterplads - Strandby Vådområde

The shelter is run by Assens Municipality, but the site and area are privately owned.

On the site there is a multi-use toilet, fire pit and tables/bench sets.

It is not possible to park at the shelter, but there is a car park 600 m north of the square (Nabben 12).

If there is firewood in the firewood shed, you are welcome to use it in limited quantities. It costs DKK 20, which can be paid via MobilePay no. 878 119. Firewood is only laid out occasionally, so if you want to be sure of being able to light a fire, bring your own firewood. Of course, trees and bushes must not be felled or cut on the site.
