Melbyskovens shelterplads

The shelter is located in Melbyskoven, approximately 2.5 km east of Assens By.

The shelter is located on a hilltop with a beautiful view over a forest clearing.

Approximately 40 meters from the shelter is a packed lunch house and a multi-toilet. The packed lunch house has tables and benches, a large campfire site and a small campfire stove. If you want to use the campfire site or stove, you must bring your own firewood. Trees are not allowed to be cut down in the forest, and due to the fire hazard, there is no campfire site at the shelter – use the campfire site at the packed lunch house instead.

It is not possible to drive to the shelter. If you come by car, you can park in the parking lot at Kærumvej 2B.

The forest and the shelter are owned by Assens Municipality.
