Shelter
Agernæs Shelterplads
The shelter site at Agernæs is part of the shelter concept Blue Support Points, where you can spend the night in new modern coastal shelters all around Funen.
The shelter must be booked at [www.bookenshelter.dk](https://bookenshelter.dk/fyn/shelterplads/agernaes/), and it costs DKK 30/person/overnight. There is room for 4 people in the shelter - 5 if one wants to lie on the floor.
The shelter site is approx. 125 m south of Agernæs Harbor on the way to Helnæs.
There is a toilet and water at the port.
A bonfire ring has been set up on the site. If there is firewood in the firewood shed, you are welcome to use it in limited quantities. It costs DKK 20, which can be paid via MobilePay no. **878 119**. The firewood is only laid out occasionally, so if you want to be sure of being able to light a fire, bring your own firewood. Of course, trees and bushes must not be felled or cut on the site.
The shelter is fantastic with water on both sides. But that also means it can be windy!
The shelter is on private land, so please be considerate.
One half of the shelter is divided into floors, so that two can sleep upstairs and two downstairs. A fifth person may possibly lie on the floor in the other half of the shelter.
The shelter has lots of doors, shutters and windows, so in good weather you can get lots of light and air. In bad weather, the shelter can be closed almost completely. However, there is one opening that cannot be closed. It is a requirement that a shelter *must* have at least one permanent opening. Remember to close all doors and windows when leaving the shelter.
