Shelter
Lærkedal Outdoor Center
In 2022, the Lærkedal camp school was resurrected as a phoenix from the ashes. After the old camp school was torn down, a new camp school has now been built here, where overnight stays take place in shelters. In addition to a large and very nice shelter, where 30 (perhaps more) can lie around a campfire and look into the flames, a "leader's shelter" has been built immediately adjacent to the large shelter, where teachers, pedagogues, leaders or others can sleep.
The old log house has been restored and contains a living room, a small toilet, a small kitchen, a room with two beds and a teaching depot. The repository contains a number of completed teaching courses that are ready to go, and of course materials for these. An outdoor kitchen is located right next to the log cabin.
A packed lunch house, two public dirt toilets, a disc golf course, the nearby mountain bike track and a bridge out into the lake complete it all.
The project is a collaboration with the Local Council and local associations, the Danish Nature Agency and Trente Mølle. Bookings are made by contacting Trente Mølle at <[email protected]> or calling 62681979. The place can only be booked as a single unit. It is thus not possible as a private person to rent e.g. 3 places in the small shelter.
