Horne Næs

At the top of Horne Næs is this small fantastic shelter site. Primitive accommodation in a special class. Here you get it all: forest, slope = view, shelter, sea and really good space. In total, there is room for 20 overnight guests, divided into two modern shelters (with space for 9 and 5 people respectively) and an "old-fashioned" all-timber shelter (6 people). The coast beyond is a hotspot for anglers and underwater hunters. A long staircase connects the rental space directly with the coast. Please show consideration for the neighbors on both sides by respecting the posted fences. In March 2016, this site was taken over by Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality from KFUM-Spejderne in Denmark, who in his time inherited the site from shipowner Mogens Huusfeldt Sørensen in Svendborg. The plot is currently run in collaboration between Trente Mølle and Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality. The shelter must and can be booked [here.](https://bookenshelter.dk/fyn/shelterplads/horne-naes/)
