Spend the night in a shelter on the southern part of Bjørnø with a view of the South Funen Archipelago. Here you will spend the night less than 50 steps from the beach, surrounded by vineyards, coastal nature and the special atmosphere that can only be found on a small island. Take the ferry Lillebjørn from Faaborg and experience the quiet island life on Bjørnø – a small, car-free island with only 30 permanent residents. Here the pace slows down and nature is allowed to take over. The shelters are located close to Bjørnø Vingård, where you can buy locally produced wine, gin and brandy. From the shelter site there is a view of the sea, and the area is an obvious stop for hikers, cyclists and kayakers, but also for those who want a night close to nature and far from the noise of everyday life. Light a bonfire, enjoy the sunset over the archipelago, or lie down in the shelter and listen to the waves from the beach.

Bjørnø Vingård's 2 shelters are located below Vinmarken on the south side of Bjørnø, with a beautiful view over the archipelago. There is easy access if you come with your kayak, which you can pull up to land from the water side, and you can come on foot or by bike from Bjørnø By along “Vingårdsvejen” and then you follow the small path south – past Bjørnø Vingård B&B-bed & bath – next to Vinmarken. There are approx. 800 meters from the Bjørnø ferry on the north side of the island, to the shelters
