Havørnen - shelter ved Rands Fjord

In scenic surroundings by Rands Fjord lies the Havørnen shelter, which has a built-in terrace with a fireplace, skylights and a completely unique location overlooking Rands Fjord.

Rands Fjord is a very quiet natural area with a rich birdlife. Within walking distance of the shelter you will find [the Lappedykkeren bird tower](https://udinaturen.dk/facilitet/udsigtstårn/?id=84c27815-a40b-4453-b761-fc725c039ff2), where you may be lucky enough to spot a white-tailed eagle.

**Practical info:** Approximately 200 meters from the shelter there is a water hydrant and a primitive earthen toilet.

**Parking:** Use the parking lot at Fagerlien 27. From here it is approx. 600 meters walk to the shelter. It is not permitted to drive further than the parking lot.
