Stenderup Sønderskov Shelter 1

Coastal accommodation site on the eastern edge of Sønder Stenderup Sønderskov with a view towards the Little Belt. The site is furnished with a shelter, fire pit and barbecue.

There is access to a multi-use toilet - bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring your own, but it is otherwise permitted to collect wood from the forest floor for use on the campfire.

Access to the site from the land side is through Sønderskoven - but all parking must be at one of the parking spaces in the northern part of the forest. The nearest parking space is at Seljumsvej, from here it is approx. 1200 m to the shelter. Driving in the forest is subject to a tax/fine.

The site is one of a number of coastal camp sites along the East Jutland fjords and is marked with a pole from the water side. GPS N 55 26,641 E 009 40,126`

The shelter site cannot be booked. Access is on a first-come, first-served basis. However, it is expected that you show consideration for other guests and that you share the space.
