Welcome to the primitive overnight site

The overnight site is open to everyone, both for overnight stays and for cozying up by the campfire. Use and stay are free.

Booking the shelter means that you have priority for this particular site - not the entire site, which others are also welcome to use while you are here.

The site is suitable for setting up 3-4 smaller tents. You may stay up to two nights in a row at the site.

There is access to a multi-toilet – bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring your own, but it is otherwise permitted to collect wood from the forest floor for use on the campfire site.

Access to the site from the land side is through Sønderskoven - but all parking must be done at one of the parking lots in the northern part of the forest. The nearest parking lot is at Seljumsvej, from here it is approx. 1200 m to the shelter. Driving in the forest is subject to a fee/fine.

It is not allowed to play loud music or make other noise that disturbs animals and other people

Take garbage with you when you leave the site.

The site is one of a number of coastal campsites along the East Jutland fjords and is marked with a pole from the water side. GPS N 55 26.641 E 009 40.126`
