Hoppes Shelterplads

Large campfire house with grill in the middle and built-in shelters. The campfire house is located on the edge of a small grove in the young Hoppes Skov forest and close to Svanemosen. Space for 25 sleeping guests. Tables and benches in dry weather.

There is access to a multi-purpose toilet - bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. It is allowed to collect wood from the forest floor for use at the campfire site, but it is a young forest, so there is not much wood on the forest floor

The campfire hut and shelter site are reserved for larger groups in connection with special types of events, such as school, sports or scout events, camps based on a given faith, etc. (minimum 15 people) and must be booked directly via the “Book here” button or via the Danish Agency for Nature Conservation's booking system. Please note that your booking will be lost if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 p.m. at the latest.

If no one has booked the place, it is available for anyone who wants to settle down for a shorter or longer time.

The parking lot with the address Tværford 25 is no longer available. Similarly, there is no parking lot or access to the bird tower or shelter via Sangfuglevej. Use the Hoppeshave parking lot at Tværford instead.
