Shelter
Lejrplads med shelter 1 - Kasmose Skov
The campsite in Kasmose Skov is located in the untouched part of Kasmose Skov. The campsite has two 5-person shelters, which are located on top of the cliff with a view of the Little Belt. From the cliff it is possible to see Trelle Næs in Jutland. The forest is owned by the Danish Nature Agency and has been designated as untouched forest since the early 1990s.
The subsoil in Kasmose Skov consists of plastic clay. When it rains, the clay becomes soft as butter and from time to time large sections of the cliff with trees slide into the sea.
*Please note that the shelter site is located close to a steep slope down towards the coast. Therefore, exercise common sense, stay a safe distance from the slope and pay special attention to children not getting too close.*
