Ravnebanke Skov

The forest is a mixed forest with many beautiful old trees and exciting wildlife. Ravnebanke is located about 5 km west of Morud and Langesøskovene and approx. 6 km. south of the village of Veflinge.

<span style="color: rgb(55, 55, 55);">The shelter is located in a clearing right in the middle of the forest. On one side there are large, beautiful Douglas firs and some scattered scrub. On the other side, the forest is more open with large beech trees, conifers and hilly terrain. </span>

ACCESS:

Access to the shelter and the forest must be via Skovmøllervej.

There is a nice parking option just outside the forest on a small grassy area by Skovmøllevej. From here there is approx. 500 m. to the shelter site. Access to the site is <u>on foot.</u> Follow the forest road from the car park into the forest and turn left at the first road (see map at bookenshelter.dk).

NOTE: It is not possible to access the shelter via Ålemosevej, which lies south of the forest, as it is a closed road that applies to both drivers and people on foot. So pay extra attention to this if you use GPS to get to the car park. Google maps will, for example, take you via Ålemosevej, which is closed. Therefore, you have to manually navigate via Skovmøllevej to the parking lot.
