Kauslunde Å

The shelter site at the outlet of the Kauslunde Å in Storebælt is part of the Blue Support Points shelter concept, where you can spend the night in new modern coastal shelters all around Funen.

The shelter site is very close to the beach, but with a country road in between that needs to be crossed, so watch out for cars. The beach is a bit rocky, and if you are thinking of taking a dip, we recommend that you do so at least 50 south of the site, so that a distance of approx. 200 meters can be maintained from the outlet of the river.

From the shelters there is an excellent west-facing view over the flat meadows around Kauslunde Å. There is a rich bird life here.

A dirt toilet is attached to the site, but there is no access to drinking water.
