Glumsø Skov Shelterplads

NOTE! One shelter was vandalized and burned down on December 16, 2025. There is currently only one shelter on the site and must be booked in advance. Shelter located by a small lake in a partially open landscape in the newly planted forest near Glumsø town. The campsite must be booked if you want to be sure of an overnight stay. Campsite with fixed grill and multi-toilet at the site, but drinking water must be brought. Some firewood can be collected around the site, but if you want to be sure of dry firewood, you should bring this yourself. A few additional tents can be set up at the shelter. The shelter can accommodate 4-6 people. Max. 2 nights. NOTE! There are sheep grazing in the paddock during the summer months. Dogs must therefore, as always, be on a leash during the entire stay.
