The site is on an open lawn in a younger forest area east of Næstved. There is an attached fire pit - *remember to bring firewood*. There are several table-bench sets in the area. It is possible to park at the entrance to the forest from Bystævnet. There is no access to water and toilets (the nearest toilet is at Rønnebæk church). Bring a small shovel for toilet visits and bring your own water.

The accommodation cannot be booked in advance, it is first come, first served.

With a valid fishing license it is even permitted to fish in the lake.
