There are several ways to get to the shelter:

Park in the parking space on Silovej and go left. A little further on, there is a nice, steep wooden staircase that takes you down into the limestone pit. Down there, you follow the path to the left around the small lake and come out to the large lake, Karlstrup Kalkgrav. Then you go left and follow the road to the right, where a little further on there is a fork in the road. Up in the northwestern part of the lime pit, you continue up the steep path and come up to another dirt road. Here you go left and follow the road upwards. Up at the top, you simply follow the road and end up at the shelter.

There is also the option of avoiding the big climbs: from the parking lot, follow the dirt road to the right (straight ahead) and after the campfire on the left hand side you will come to a dirt road, which you follow to the right. A little further on, you can either follow the road straight along the asphalt road up along the top of the lime pit. It is then followed all the way around the limestone pit, up it.

**The place can only be booked 3 months in advance, and a maximum of 2 days.**
