Tent camp
Ballesbækgård shelterplads
On the site there are 3 shelters, a fire pit with a grill and a multi-use toilet. The campsite is set up on a large grassy area 200 m from Ballesbækgård on the south side of Rørbæk Sø. The site is partly surrounded by trees and adjoins a small area of heath. It is also possible to pitch tents here. The site is a few hundred meters from the shore of Rørbæk Sø.
In the summer (1 May - 1 November) water can be collected at Ballesbækgård, where there is also access to toilets. Access to multi-use toilets on the site all year round - bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring your own, but it is otherwise permitted to collect wood from the forest floor for use on the campfire.
Waste from the shelter site must be brought or delivered in the container at the P site.
At Ballesbækgård, visitors can also eat brought food. There are 2 toilets and a disabled toilet. Outside there are tables and benches, fire pit, boulder grill and disabled grill. Also walking routes.
The shelter site is reserved for larger groups in connection with special types of events, such as school, sports or scout events, camps based on a given faith, etc. (minimum 15 people) and must be booked directly via the "Book here" button or via the Nature Control Agency's booking system. Please note that your booking will be canceled if you have not arrived at the site by 8 p.m.
If no one has booked the place, it is however available to anyone who wants to settle down for a short or long time.
