Niklashütte

The Niklashütte in the Black Forest is a charming, rustic cabin that has become very popular thanks to numerous outdoor YouTube videos. It is nestled amidst the beautiful natural surroundings of the Black Forest and offers a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for nature and adventure lovers.

The local forest ranger often stops by, usually at sunrise, which underlines the special atmosphere of the place. Due to its popularity, also due to the many YouTube videos, the cabin is almost always occupied.

In the surrounding area, within a five-minute walk, you can find plenty of deadwood, which is ideal for the wood-burning stove. No living trees need to be felled, as living wood burns poorly and has less heating power than dry deadwood.

By using existing firewood in the cabin, you are also providing for the next visitor.

It is traditional to leave surplus food in the cabin, but only in metal and glass containers, as other packaging is gnawed by dormice and can disturb sleep at night. Please note that no food or refreshments are provided at the cabin, so guests should bring their own. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, exploring, and outdoor activities, which are featured in many popular YouTube videos.
