The Lindach trekking site offers insight into the use of wood as a building material. Wood was already used to build huts in the Bronze Age (1100-750 BC). At that time, the length of the trees determined the size of the huts. Today, a wooden house can combine modern living aesthetics, proven construction techniques, and low-energy standards, thus making a valuable contribution to climate protection: Building with wood contributes to the permanent sequestration of CO2.

At the Lindach trekking site, you can recreate the original construction methods. With various templates for building a leaf hut, you will become the architect of your own accommodation. Approximately 30 beech poles are available for this purpose. Don't be afraid to improve the leaf huts of your predecessors or build new ones.
