The Laubwiese trekking site is located in the middle of the Lehmgrube forest section, the name of which suggests a mining area for Lehrbergton (grain size of 0.002 mm).
It is in close proximity to many Celtic testimonies such as ring walls, burial mounds, idol stones and archaeological monuments. Some legends tell that the forests of the clay pit let the spirits of the Celtic times arise on warm summer nights.
At the Laubwiese you will also learn how to cook like the Celts: Use the rubbing stone to paint your grain. Or bring a few handfuls of flour with you. A dough is made from flour with salt and water to bake simple flat bread. You are welcome to collect herbs along the way and add them to the bread. We recommend the book: "Edible wild plants: identify and bake 200 species". Please only use the fireplace provided for baking.
