15518 - Offizieller Wasserwander Rastplatz

Official water hiker rest area. Hikers, cyclists, and water hikers are allowed to camp there for one night without registration, right next to the water (a tributary of the Spree River). A quiet beach is right next to it, and a small restaurant is open during the warmer months. There are no restrooms or fresh water. The village of Berkenbrück has a train station, but no shops. Trains run toward Berlin or Frankfurt/Oder.

There is a Schwalbe tube dispenser in the village.

Note: The restroom is not public; it belongs to the "Strandidyll" restaurant and is subject to a fee.
