Open hut, somewhat hidden in the forest. Has not been used for a few years, but can serve as a simple place to sleep. I would recommend using a tent or tarp near the hut. There are places to sit. A fire pit was also built at some point. There is also a spring next to the hut, but it is difficult to get water from there because there is no well pipe (see photo) etc. There are several discount stores about 1.5 km away at the entrance to Bad Hersfeld.
