The small shelter is located at the intersection of the 'Eselsweg' and 'Stockheim bis Vulkansteig' hiking trails.

The shelter offers space for two to three people to stay overnight.

The floor of the shelter is gravel, so at least one groundsheet should be used under the sleeping mat.
