This refuge is located on the Rhön road on a plateau south of Wewelsburg. The A44 runs a few meters to the south, but there is little traffic at night. Expect little traffic on the road in front of the hut in the morning hours. The hut offers space for one person on the concrete interlocking pavement and possibly for a second person on the narrow bench. The hut is open to the east and freely visible.
