The Million Bank - today a refuge at 632m above sea level. NN – owes its name to hyperinflation after the First World War. A beech is said to have been felled here in 1923. They were worth millions - but they weren't worth the paper they were printed on. That is why a bench was made from the felled beech in no time at all.

The 155 km long-distance hiking trail Rothaarsteig, which stretches from Brilon to Dillenburg, runs past the refuge.

For cross-country skiing fans, the millions of trails are ideal for sporting activities in winter.
