At the Ellerspring trekking site you camp at the highest point in the Soonwald at 657 meters. The trekking site is hidden in a small clearing on the Soonwaldsteig. There is even a fireplace for a cozy campfire in the evening. You pay 10 euros per tent for the night, there is space for five tents. If you would like to have the place all to yourself, the night costs 65 euros. However, after one night you have to move on.
