Typical refuge for the Harz. Inside there is space for 2 people plus luggage. On my last visit, in the summer of 2023, the hut was clean. There is a seating area next door. Water can be taken directly from the mountain stream next to it. Not far from the hut, the Moorstieg leads to the Leistenklippe. A wonderful place at sunset.
