The majority of places are completely free. However, some charge a symbolic fee, and a few – especially mountain hotels – charge a normal hotel or hostel fee for overnight stays.

Currently, about 14.000 sites are completely free.

1. Open the place you want to edit by clicking it on the map
2. Click the "Edit this place" button below the description on the view place screen
3. Edit the place
4. Save changes by clicking "Save" in the upper right corner of the edit screen

1. Open the place you want to delete by clicking it on the map
2. Edit the place by clicking the "Edit this place" button below the description
3. At the bottom of the edit screen, click "Delete this place"
4. On the delete screen, select a reason, add an optional comment, and click "Delete"

The place will now be marked as deleted next time your app synchronises with the server (within seconds if you are online), and the change will be send to other users next time their app pulls updates.
